# Quick Start Guide

Welcome to Crypto Clash! This guide will help you get started with your first battles in just a few minutes.

## Prerequisites

Before you begin, make sure you have:

* A compatible crypto wallet (MetaMask, WalletConnect, etc.)
* Some ETH for token swaps (for earning clash tickets)
* Basic understanding of cryptocurrency wallets

## Step 1: Connect Your Wallet

    Look for the "Connect Wallet" button in the top navigation

    Choose from supported wallet options (MetaMask, WalletConnect, etc.)
  </Step>

  <Step title="Approve Connection">
    Sign the connection request in your wallet
  </Step>

  Make sure you're connected to the correct network (Ink Mainnet for production or Ink Sepolia for testing)

      Add the Ink Mainnet network configuration to your wallet:

      After adding the network, switch to Ink Mainnet in your wallet

## Step 2: Open Your First Daily Pack

Once connected, you'll automatically receive your free daily pack:

    Look for the "Starter Pack" (If it doesn't show up automatically, locate it in the profile tab)

  <Step title="Find Daily Pack">
    Look for the "Daily Pack" in the top right of the header
  </Step>

    Click "Open Pack" to reveal your 5 cards
  </Step>

  <Step title="Review Cards">
    Check your new heroes, troops, and equipment
  </Step>

  Daily packs reset every 24 hours at UTC midnight and contain 70% crypto cards and 30% equipment

## Step 3: Build Your First Deck

Now it's time to create your battle formation:

    Navigate to the "Current Hand" section in the play tab

  <Step title="Select Your Hero">
    Choose 1 hero card (heroes can only be placed in the first slot)
  </Step>

  <Step title="Add Troops">
    Select 4 troop cards for the other slots
  </Step>

  <Step title="Review Formation">
    Check your deck's stats, check the daily boosts and the house boosts
  </Step>

<Tip>
  Try to use cards from the same crypto house for synergy bonuses, and avoid duplicate cards which reduce effectiveness
</Tip>

## Step 4: Enter Your First Battle

Ready to clash? Let's battle!

    In the play tab locate "Next Clash" and click on the button below

  <Step title="Check Tickets">
    Ensure you have clash tickets available (you start with some free tickets)
  </Step>

  <Step title="Start Battle">
    Click "Clash" to match against an opponent
  </Step>

  <Step title="Watch the Clash">
    Observe as your cards battle their corresponding enemy cards
  </Step>

  <Step title="Claim Rewards">
    Collect your battle points and any loot drops
  </Step>

  Each battle costs 1 clash ticket. You can earn more tickets through token swaps (\$50+ swaps earn 20 tickets)

## Step 5: Earn More Clash Tickets (Optional)

To continue clashing, you'll need more clash tickets:

    Navigate to the "Swap" tab in the game

  <Step title="Select Tokens">
    Choose from supported tokens (ETH, CLASH)
  </Step>

  <Step title="Enter Amount">
    Swap at least \$50 USD equivalent to earn 20 Clash tickets
  </Step>

  <Step title="Confirm Swap">
    Approve the transaction in your wallet
  </Step>

  <Step title="Receive Tickets">
    Your clash tickets will be automatically added to your account
  </Step>
</Steps>

  Daily swap limits reset at UTC midnight. You can perform a swap every day to earn 20 Clash tickets
</Info>

### Earn LP Tickets (Liquidity Rewards)

Provide liquidity to the \$CLASH–ETH(WETH) pair and earn additional tickets and points.

**LP Tickets**

* 1 ticket per \$10 liquidity (minimum \$10)
* Tickets are used for battles and never expire

| \$10–\$199             | up to 19          |
| \$200–\$999            | max 20            |
| \$1,000–\$1,999        | max 25            |
| \$2,000+               | max 30            |

**LP Points**

* Earn 1 point per \$1 liquidity
* Capped at 10,000 points/day

* Consider purchasing up to 5 custom cards
* Get a personalized hero and troops for your favorite crypto house
* +200 battle points bonus
* Permanent place in game history
* Legendary airdrop when NFTs launch

## Troubleshooting

### Common Issues

**Wallet Connection Problems**

* Ensure you're on the correct network (Ink Mainnet for the game, Ethereum for Patron NFT minting)
* Try refreshing the page and reconnecting
* Check that your wallet is unlocked

**No Daily Pack Available**

* Check if 24 hours have passed since your last pack
* Ensure you're connected to the correct wallet
* Try refreshing the page

**Clash Tickets Missing**

* Verify you have clash tickets in your account
* Check if you've reached your daily swap limit
* Ensure your swap was at least \$50 USD equivalent (In one swap, not seperately)

**Transaction Failures**

* Check your wallet has sufficient ETH for gas fees
* Ensure you're on the correct network
* Try increasing gas limit if transactions are failing

**Adding Liquidity Failures**

* Check your wallet has sufficient ETH for gas fees
* Ensure you're on the correct network

<Warning>
  If there is an error the wallet might wrapped your ETH to WETH already. Your ETH will never be lost.
  Check your wallet for WETH. You can add either WETH directly or ETH and the system will wrap it for you.
